Onboard a client in one envelope — not three weeks of email and WhatsApp.
Accountants, attorneys, estate agents and financial advisers all know the dance: the engagement letter goes by email, the ID arrives on WhatsApp, the proof of address waits for a scanner. KuduDoc sends the whole pack as one sequenced envelope with one link — and it comes back signed, uploaded and sealed, usually the same day.
No credit card to start — Personal plan included.
Onboard in one sitting
One link opens the whole pack in the order you set. The client signs each document and uploads ID and proof of address from their phone, in minutes — no account, no app.
Prove it, years later
Every completed pack is sealed with a certification signature, a SHA-256 fingerprint and an independent timestamp — Bitcoin-anchored within hours, checkable by anyone, free.
Consent, captured properly
POPIA consent is signed inside the pack itself, so the record of how you came to hold a client's personal information starts on day one — not as an afterthought.
Every onboarding document, one envelope
Build the pack once and reuse it for every new client — a saved pack is a template, and templates start on the Family plan. This is the paper South African practices actually send:

From "welcome aboard" to a sealed file
One envelope
The whole pack in one envelope
Documents sign in the order you set, uploads land in the same envelope, and nothing goes missing between five email threads. When the last item completes, the whole pack seals at once — certification signature, SHA-256 fingerprint, timestamp.
Identity
What the pack collects, and what it doesn't check
Today the pack collects what you need to do the checking: the client uploads their ID and proof of address inside the same envelope, and both are sealed and timestamped with everything else they signed. Checking that ID against the document itself, a live selfie, or Home Affairs (HANIS)* is in build and not live yet — so don't plan an onboarding workflow around it. When it ships it will be priced per check, VAT included, on the pricing page.
Where identity verification is headed* On our roadmap — in build, not live yet.
Before you send the next pack
Whatever your practice needs — typically an engagement letter, a mandate, POPIA consent and upload fields for the client's ID and proof of address. It all travels as one envelope with one link, documents sign in the order you set, and the client finishes the lot in one sitting.
Not yet. Today KuduDoc collects the ID and proof of address and seals them with the pack, so you can prove what the client gave you and when — but it doesn't check the document, match a selfie to it, or query Home Affairs. Document-and-liveness checking and a live HANIS lookup are in build and not live, and we'd rather say so than have you count on them. Where identity verification is headed.
No — and we won't pretend otherwise. Your FICA obligations as an accountable institution — who you must verify, what you must keep, and for how long — stay yours. What KuduDoc gives you is the collection and proof layer: one pack, the uploads, the consent, and a sealed, timestamped record of exactly what was signed and provided. This isn't compliance or legal advice.
Open one link, sign each document in turn, and photograph or upload their ID and proof of address — from a phone, in one sitting, no account or app required. You see progress live, and the sealed pack with its full audit trail lands back with you the moment the last item completes.
5 onboarding packs a month are free, forever, no credit card. Sending more than that, or want a team seat? Personal raises that to 10 a month and costs R79/month including VAT for a household of five — that is the annual rate, and month-to-month costs more. Professional adds team seats and unlimited sends; its seat rate is on the full pricing page. Either way, packs you've already sent are never affected by a plan change.
Your next client could be onboarded by this afternoon.
