The vehicle is sold voetstoots, in the condition described in the annexure and photographed on the date of signature. The purchaser confirms having inspected the vehicle and having been given the opportunity to have it independently examined.

An electronic signature is recognised in South African law under the ECT Act for most agreements, and a vehicle sale between two private parties is an ordinary contract. We are not your lawyer and this is not legal advice — but the reason to sign it here is evidential: both parties hold the same fingerprinted, timestamped copy, and neither can alter theirs afterwards without that being detectable.
No. We tell you the date is coming and hold the documents; the renewal is still between you and the licensing department. We would rather be honest about the boundary than imply we file things on your behalf.
